Below is the Science Fair Timeline. Please stick to the deadlines listed.
Mandatory Science Fair meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 12th. You may choose to come in the morning (7:45-8:10) or in the afternoon (3:30-3:50). Permission slips, payment options and other important information will be discussed at this meeting. Thank you.
Tuesday, January 12th: MANDATORY
Science Fair meeting. I will hold two meetings that day: one in the
morning from 7:45-8:10 AM and one from 3:30-3:50 PM after school. During
this meeting you will get information about the fair day, payment
options and field trip permission slips. Please make arrangements to
attend. It would be best to have your project completed and online
paperwork submitted close to this date. If any updates or changes need
to be made to your paperwork, you must allow time for that process to
happen. Don't wait until the last minute.
January 22nd
at 5:00 PM: ALL online paperwork must be submitted and approved
by me. No exceptions!
If your paperwork is not submitted and project approved by this date,
you will not go to the fair.
Please be aware that project approval can take up to 1 week, so please
submit
your paperwork way before the January 22nd deadline. If your project
requires SRC or IRB approval, it could take even longer to approve.
Projects that will advance to the regional fair will be selected by me.
Tuesday, Feb. 2nd: All permission slips and payments are due. You only pay if you are actually approved to advance to the regional fair. If you do advance, you should receive an email that lets you know.
Friday, January 29th: Last day to bring your tri-fold to Mrs. Sweet's room (408) to set up for the CVMS fair.
February 1st-5th: CVMS Science fair; more details will come at the mandatory meeting.
Wed. February 17th: All project display boards must be taken to the Palmer Events Center
Thurs. February 18th: Science Fair Day! (More details to come at the meeting)

There are currently 4 weeks left to register for this year's science fair. The Canyon Vista Registration deadline is on
Friday, Dec. 4th 2015.
Your project does not need to be completed by this date; you just need to have an online account by then.
